Admit that You are a Sinner
All have sinned and continue to fall short of God’s glory (Romans 3:23).
Not even one person is righteous (Romans 3:10).
People who are cowardly, unfaithful, detestable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars will find themselves in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur. This is the second death. (Revelation 21:8)
Believe in Jesus
Look, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! (John 1:29)
For this is how God loved the world: He gave his unique Son so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but have eternal life. Because God sent the Son into the world, not to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe has already been condemned, because he has not believed in the name of God’s unique Son. (John 3:16-18)
There is no salvation by anyone else, for there is no other name under heaven given among people by which we must be saved . (Acts 4:12)
Confess Jesus as Your Lord and Savior
If you declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9)
Truly, I tell all of you with certainty, the one who hears my word and believes in the one who sent me has eternal life and does not come under judgment, but has passed from death to life. (John 5:24)
To all who received him, to those believing in his name, he gave authority to become God’s children, who were born, not merely in a physical sense, or from a fleshly impulse, or from man’s desire, but of God . (John 1:12-13)
Deny yourself and follow Jesus daily.
Luke 9:23-24 If anyone wants to come with me, he must deny himself, pick up his cross every day, and follow me continually, because whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it.
Jesus, I am a sinner. Thank you for dying on the cross to save me from the penalty of sin. I put my trust in you as my Lord and Savior. Thank you for the gift of eternal life. Amen.
