Lord of the World?
2017 will be a year of shaking. Things that have always been will no longer remain the same. The articles below shed some light on what may happen. If you are waiting for the anti-christ to appear, that day is coming soon. If you are waiting for Jesus to return, that day will come even sooner. No one can deny that the global events which are taking place, and that are upon us, are normal and typical in nature. You may scoff at the coming of Christ. But it will happen, and you will not be prepared. Do not look to a man or a nation to save you, look only to Jesus Christ, He alone can forgive you and save you. Repent and believe in Jesus as Lord and Savior. Read the Bible and pray that you will escape the coming judgment of the world and all that reject Jesus Christ.
Do Not Love the World
(1 John 2:15-17)
15 Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh, the desires of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not from the Father but from the world. 17 The world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God remains forever.
Beware of Antichrists
(1 John 2:18-23)
18 Children, it is the last hour; and just as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have appeared. This is how we know it is the last hour. 19 They went out from us, but they did not belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us. But their departure made it clear that none of them belonged to us.
20 You, however, have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth. 21 I have not written you because you lack knowledge of the truth, but because you have it, and because no lie comes from the truth. 22 Who is the liar, if it is not the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, who denies the Father and the Son. 23 No one who denies the Son can have the Father; whoever confesses the Son has the Father as well.
The Coming Judgment
(Genesis 3:1-7; Genesis 7:1-5; Romans 5:12-21)
1 Beloved, this is now my second letter to you. Both of them are reminders to stir you to wholesome thinking 2 by recalling what was foretold by the holy prophets and commanded by our Lord and Savior through your apostles.
3 First of all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. 4 “Where is the promise of His coming?” they will ask. “Ever since our fathers fell asleep, everything continues as it has from the beginning of creation.”
5 But they deliberately overlook the fact that long ago by God’s word the heavens existed and the earth was formed out of water and by water, 6 through which the world of that time perished in the flood. 7 And by that same word, the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.
The Day of the Lord
(Zephaniah 1:7-18; 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11)
8 Beloved, do not let this one thing escape your notice: With the Lord, a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. 9 The Lord is not slow to fulfill His promise as some understand slowness, but is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar, the elements will be dissolved in the fire, and the earth and its works will not be found.
11 Since everything will be dissolved in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to conduct yourselves in holiness and godliness 12 as you anticipate and hasten the coming of the day of God, when the heavens will be dissolved by fire and the elements will melt in the heat. 13 But in keeping with God’s promise, we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.
14 Therefore, beloved, as you anticipate these things, make every effort to be found at peace with Him, without spot or blemish.
15 Consider also that our Lord’s patience brings salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom God gave him. 16 He writes this way in all his letters, speaking in them about such matters. Some parts of his letters are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction.
17 Therefore, beloved, since you already know these things, be on your guard not to be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure standing. 18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity.
The one city in the world that will play a significant role in the global shaking is Jerusalem.
Jerusalem to Be Attacked
12 The burden of the word of the Lord concerning Israel.
Thus declares the Lord who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him,2 “Behold, I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that causes reeling to all the peoples around; and when the siege is against Jerusalem, it will also be against Judah. 3 It will come about in that day that I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples; all who lift it will be severely injured. And all the nations of the earth will be gathered against it. 4 In that day,” declares the Lord, “I will strike every horse with bewilderment and his rider with madness. But I will watch over the house of Judah, while I strike every horse of the peoples with blindness. 5 Then the clans of Judah will say in their hearts, ‘A strong support for us are the inhabitants of Jerusalem through the Lord of hosts, their God.’
6 “In that day I will make the clans of Judah like a firepot among pieces of wood and a flaming torch among sheaves, so they will consume on the right hand and on the left all the surrounding peoples, while the inhabitants of Jerusalem again dwell on their own sites in Jerusalem.7 The Lord also will save the tents of Judah first, so that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem will not be magnified above Judah. 8 In that day the Lord will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and the one who is feeble among them in that day will be like David, and the house of David will be like God, like the angel of the Lord before them. 9 And in that day I will set about to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
10 “I will pour out on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace and of supplication, so that they will look on Me whom they have pierced; and they will mourn for Him, as one mourns for an only son, and they will weep bitterly over Him like the bitter weeping over a firstborn. 11 In that day there will be great mourning in Jerusalem, like the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the plain of Megiddo. 12 The land will mourn, every family by itself; the family of the house of David by itself and their wives by themselves; the family of the house of Nathan by itself and their wives by themselves; 13 the family of the house of Levi by itself and their wives by themselves; the family of the Shimeites by itself and their wives by themselves; 14 all the families that remain, every family by itself and their wives by themselves.
“For thus saith Hashem of hosts who sent me after glory unto the nations which spoiled you: ‘Surely he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.” – Zechariah 2:12
“Thus saith the Lord GOD: Woe unto the vile prophets that follow their own spirit and things which they have not seen!” – Ezekiel 13:3
Is the Two-State “Solution” the Spiritual Child of Jewish Genocide?
Dear Christian Warriors:
On January 15th, 70 nations will convene in Paris, France to possibly vote on a Two-State “Solution” to be internationally imposed upon Israel.
As Christians, we know that this demonic insistence for Israel to give up more land is not based on anything rational. All reasonable and rational people would have to admit that 99% of the Mideast is ALREADY OWNED AND OCCUPIED by Muslims. They would further have to admit that the Jewish people have been hounded and persecuted throughout history. In addition, Israel is the ONLY democracy in the Mideast. Any thinking person would also acknowledge that Islamic controlled nations are mostly in shambles or have oppressive restrictions on human rights.
Why would it make ANY rational sense for Israel to give up more land?
And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. ~Zechariah 12:3
Hitler offered a “Final Solution” for the Jewish question also. We should ask this question:
Why do the Jews need “solving?”
Plain and simple: This “solution” is from the pit of hell.
Don’t be deceived by arguments about “indigenous rights” either. Satan is a master of throwing red herrings to distract us. The Jewish people do not have a right to their land because of archeological digs or “indigenous rights.” Remember, there were GIANTS in the Land when God told them to possess it. The Jews DISPLACED evil people from these lands by the COMMAND OF GOD ALMIGHTY. Trying to make an argument based on “who was there first” is nonsensical and irrelevant in the spiritual world. In Biblical history, the criteria to occupy land was for one reason and ONE REASON ONLY:
GOD SAYS SO.
It is clear that we are watching Biblical prophecy come true before our very eyes. In that sense, it is exciting to see God enact His Sovereign Plan. Here’s His “Two-State Solution”:
Who is on the Lord’s side? Let him come unto me. ~ Exodus 32:36
This is no time to be neutral. Pick a side and get on it. The lukewarm go first.
For thus says the LORD of hosts, “After glory, He has sent me against the nations which plunder you, for he who touches you, touches the apple of His eye. ~ Zechariah 2:8
Heavenly Father, Creator of the Universe, Leader of all Nations: We humbly beseech you to hear our prayers. Our nation and, indeed, the entire planet is in a state of spiritual chaos and disorder. Trusting in You, we thank you for shaking what needs to be shaken. Start with me first, Lord. I repent. Lord, today help me replace my old sin patterns of my life with the Truths of Your Holy Word.
As a nation, we have apostatized and drifted far away from our Judeo-Christian heritage. In the name of “democracy” and “equality,” we have instead invited in false idols and pagan gods. In the name of “choice,” we have slaughtered millions of innocents. In the name of “tolerance,” we have sanctified sinful perversions. In the name of “social justice,” we have squandered our children’s inheritance. In the name of “fairness,” we have embraced human secularism and abandoned allies. In the name of “peace,” we have stabbed Israel in the back, not honoring Your Godly Authority.
Now, in the Name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all Names, the King of kings and the Lord of lords, we pray that you would touch hearts throughout this nation and the world. May repentance spread in Your Bride, starting with me, Lord. May our public humbling and sincere repentance awaken us. Help us to complete the Great Commission mandate as Your Bride, igniting the passion of all humankind to choose Jesus Christ as our Lord. Amen.
